1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Luna you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

2. What Luna is

Luna is an iPhone app that helps you track your menstrual cycle. It logs your periods and your day-to-day, predicts your next period, estimates your fertile days, gives you tips based on your phase, creates a cycle report for your doctor, reminds you about your contraceptive and lets you share your mood with your partner.

3. Luna is not a medical device

Luna provides general wellness information. It does not diagnose, treat or replace a healthcare professional.

  • Period, ovulation, fertility and phase predictions are estimates based on what you log and may be wrong.
  • Today’s fertility and fertile days are for guidance only: they don’t confirm or rule out ovulation and don’t indicate safe days. Luna is not a method of contraception and should not be used to try to get pregnant or to avoid pregnancy.
  • Contraceptive reminders are an aid. Taking or checking your contraceptive on time is your responsibility, including if a notification doesn’t arrive.
  • Chat answers are generated by a language model and may contain errors. They are not medical advice. The cycle report summarizes what you logged and is not a clinical report.

If something worries you, talk to your doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in the EU).

4. No account

Luna doesn’t require you to sign up. Your data lives on your iPhone, so keeping it is up to you: if you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, it can’t be recovered.

5. Requirements

Luna requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The chat only works on devices that support Apple Intelligence and have it turned on. Sharing with your partner requires both of you to have an iCloud account.

6. Partner

Sharing with your partner is voluntary. You choose who you invite and what they see, and you are responsible for that decision. The invitation link is personal: don’t forward it to anyone else. By joining partner mode, the partner also accepts these terms and agrees to use it respectfully and not to use gestures to bother or pressure anyone.

7. Permitted use

You may use Luna for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app.
  • Use it for illegal purposes or to harm another person.
  • Log another person’s data without their consent.

8. Age

Luna is not intended for children under 14. Anyone under that age needs permission from a parent or guardian.

9. Price

Luna is free to download. When you finish the initial setup, you choose how to get in: start the 7-day free trial of the Luna Plus monthly plan, or buy lifetime Luna Plus with a one-time payment. What each option includes and its price are shown in the app before you confirm.

  • The free trial is only available if you haven’t subscribed before. When the 7 days end, the first month is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
  • If you cancel the trial or the subscription, you keep tracking your period, using the calendar and accessing your data for free. You only lose the Luna Plus features.
  • Payment is made through your App Store account and handled by Apple.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • You can manage or cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. If you cancel, you keep Luna Plus until the end of the trial or of the period you already paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.
  • If the price changes, you’ll be notified before it applies.

10. No warranties

Luna is provided as is and as available. There is no guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors, or that its predictions will be accurate. Features that depend on Apple (iCloud, notifications, Apple Health, Apple Intelligence) may fail or change for reasons outside Luna’s control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the owner of Luna is not liable for damages arising from use of the app, including those resulting from relying on its predictions, tips or reminders, from the loss of data stored on your device, or from third parties accessing your data through your iPhone, your iCloud account or the partner link. Protecting your device and turning on Luna’s lock is up to you. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

12. Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, texts and illustrations, and the Luna name, logo and mascot belong to the Luna team. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. The data you log is yours.

13. Termination

You can stop using Luna at any time by deleting your data and uninstalling the app. The owner may withdraw the app or stop maintaining it. Since your data is on your iPhone, it will stay there as long as you keep the app installed.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The current version and its date are published here, and important changes are announced inside the app. Continuing to use it after the notice means you accept them.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of your country’s mandatory consumer laws and may go to the courts where you live.

16. Severability

If a court finds any clause of these terms void or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

17. Apple App Store

These terms are an agreement between you and the owner of Luna, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Your use of Luna is also subject to the App Store terms, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
